Baby: 2 Months

Zoey turns 2 months old today. The way time is going, I feel like I should start planning her first birthday party already. Two months in the womb didn't go this fast, I swear. Two months at work DEFINITELY don't go this fast. I've loved spending day in and day out with her and getting to know her. Currently, our routine goes a little something like this:

6 a.m. - Wake up and eat
7 a.m. - Go back to sleep cuddling (my FAVORITE time of day)
10 a.m. - Wake up and eat
11 a.m. - Hopefully go back to sleep
1 p.m. - Wake up for the day and get dressed
The afternoon is either spent awake and laying on her back kicking away and talking to the ceiling or napping in approx. 3 hour increments. The other day she was awake from 10:45 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. with just a little nap in between. She must have places to go and people to see!

She usually eats really well around 9 or 10 p.m. then once more around midnight. Try as we might, we are lucky to be in bed by midnight. It's usually 1:30 a.m. before she goes to sleep. She is the most awake between 9 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. I mean, WIDE AWAKE. I'm not sure how to change it but it's going to need to be different when I have to work.

At 2 months Zoey:
wear size 1 diapers
is in 0-3 month clothes
gets her shots on Tuesday so we'll have an official height and weight then
drinks between 2-4 oz. of Enfamil A.R. formula per feeding
takes 1/2 dissolvable Prevacid once a day
has started to coo
follows and focuses with her eyes
smiles a lot
kicks and waves her arms a lot
gets the hiccups about 5-7 times a day. They have started to infuriate her
her hair is lightening but she isn't losing it
her eyes are still blue
had kind of discovered her tongue and likes to stick it out and lick
still loves to always have her hands by her face, especially when sleeping
doesn't care too much for a binkie but will take it every once in a while
is NOT patient when she's hungry (she can wake up from a deep sleep screaming)
her toots surprise her and it makes me laugh
her eyelashes and eyebrows are getting darker
will let me get the boogies out of her eyes and nose but HATES having her hair brushed
likes to watch TV (ugh)
loves to listen to Celine Dion
likes to sit up and watch what's going on around her
also likes to lay on her back to kick and coo
"talks" to her "friends" a bit less than before
likes to hold on to my finger while feeding
loves warm baths
knows mama and dada's voices
fights going to sleep
hates being put in her carseat but always falls asleep once we hit the freeway
usually has 1 blowout a day
is loved beyond belief
